That's another beauty...the transparency of the sakura, the detailing on his shirt...and the face itself is artistically reminiscent of Katsuhiro Otomo's style ;)

Wow. Been a while but y'know what..? It was worth the wait. I'm glad I didn't see this until after the BG was done, the composition and BG are important here. THe brush stroke works wonders. THE foreshortening works great and the coloring is richer than ever. Terrific.

I do have something I have to point out as the pics only failing;his left leg in a perspectival and anatomical impossibility. Lower it or change the incoming curve. If you can be fucked.

yeah the bg turned out alright, i actually did those brush strokes buy hand in photo shop. no special tool or anything....
and yeah tiff said the same thing about the left leg, its not actually his knee but his baggie pants...... maybe i should change it anyways.
